The "Save Our Sport Lime Kiln Committee" was set up after the decision announced on 23rd November 2006 to close the Lime Kiln Sports and Leisure Centre in Wootton Bassett.  We aim to find a sustainable way to keep the centre open without a period of closure.

The committee is lead by a Steering Group.

The Business & Finance Team and the Legal Team are made up of volunteers from the legal and financial professions who are trying to find a way to keep the centre open.

The Publicity team’s objective is to keep the issue firmly in the public eye. Amongst other activities, the team has pledged to hold an event on the 23rd of each month to mark the Council’s regrettable decision to close the centre.

There are no Fundraising activities at the moment.

We are not yet registered as a recognised entity; this aspect is under investigation by the Steering Group.
