Reduced hours
Lime Kiln Have decided to close early on a Saturday from the New Year. The new close time is 5pm and is a result of the Diving Club pulling out of Lime Kiln due to the uncertainty of the future.
In the discussions that have been ongoing, since the shortsighted decision to close the centre, a number of current clubs indicated that they had asked for additional club time in the centre. Is this a good opportunity to apply for more time? Surely if Otters and a Badminton club, or similar, still want more time then applying to the Lime Kiln for a Staurday evening would test the resolve of the management.
Are they using the current situation as a method of slowly winding down the centre and reducing numbers as a weapon against those opposed to the closure?
